We have a very limited food budget in our house so we are always looking for ways to cut costs. We also want to be healthier, and enjoy our food. I have learned that most food that is cheaper also is fresher, usually is healthier and (almost always) tastes better. The only downside is that it is not always quicker. I love to cook and have the time so it doesn't bother me when it takes longer. The purpose of this blog is to chronicle my journeys along the quest of eating cheaper and fresher food, and to keep all the recipes I have used in one place for easy access at a later date, I am REALLY excited about this and hope it may be able to help others along the way.
